Recently a customer of The Document People – We the People of Woodland Hills, was shopping around and told us that LegalZoom offers the expedite incorporating option in California at the premium extra charge of $350, just like we do (that’s the fee the State asks to process the articles of incorporation in two business days). The difference is, even by paying the extra fee to expedite the filing, LegalZoom’s turnaround time is still 7-10 business days. Why? Because they do all their filings, even the expedite ones, by mail. When we expedite our filings, we use a courier so two business days are actually two business days. And we guarantee that the money to expedite the filing won’t be wasted. If the name for any reason is not available, even after we run our name check, then we contact the customer and have another one submitted instead, without wasting the extra expedite fee.
