TM vs (R)

After filing for a trademark in Woodland Hills or anywhere throughout Southern California it is important to remember a trademark application has a life of several months. It currently takes approximately three months before an attorney gets assigned to your case. However, you’ll be protected from day one (you’ll be able to advertise with the “TM” symbol). Once it’s all approved, and your petition gets filed in the official gazette, then you’ll be able to use the ® symbol, because you’ll officially be a registered trademark. You’ll receive at home the certificate with the golden seal, and you’ll be able to frame it and proudly display it, like we did!
