Anything filed by the Secretary of State on or after December 17, 2013 (from Dec. 17, to Dec. 31^st, 2013) will be considered a 2014 filing and will NOT be subject to 2013 taxes. That’s a savings of at least $800 (LLC won’t have to pay the $800 for 2013, and Corporations will be exempted throughout 2014).
